We are looking for a seasoned and results-driven Logistics Manager who can lead both innovation and execution in our dynamic work environment, helping us uphold our high standards of service

About the Role:

• Manage and coordinate all logistics operations, including international and domestic shipping, warehousing, and distribution.
• Oversee the preparation and processing of shipping documents, including bills of entry (BOE), customs declarations, and invoices, NDFA, SIRA, MOE & other related govt documents related to logistics.
• Ensure compliance with all local and international regulations related to shipping and customs.
• Develop and implement logistics strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Collaborate with production, sales, and procurement teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials and finished products.
• Manage relationships with freight forwarders, shipping companies, and other logistics service providers.
• Monitor and track shipments, addressing any issues that arise to ensure timely delivery.
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive logistics database, ensuring accuracy and accessibility of information.
• Lead and mentor the logistics team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
• Liaise with partners in the UAE and GCC regions and provide timely updates to customers regarding shipments and address related queries.

Requirements:

• Minimum 4-6 years of experience in logistics management, preferably within the manufacturing or chemical industry in JAFZA.
• In-depth knowledge of BOE and customs administration, freight handling, and invoicing procedures.
• Familiarity with shipping terms, international trade regulations, and related documentation.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with logistics partners.
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle logistical challenges effectively.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy and compliance.
• Fluent in English is a must
