ESSENTIAL SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Strong safety record and knowledge of Occupational Health & Safety.
  • Current National Police Clearance
  • High-level customer relationship management skills.
  • In-depth understanding of Incoterms and strong attention to detail.
  • Proficient with PC, printers, scanners, internet, and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Ability to work under pressure while maintaining accuracy, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Highly organised, able to prioritise tasks and work independently or as part of a team.
Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced Logistics Manager, to efficiently manage the purchasing and logistics requirements of our new project in the ACT.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, stakeholders, and account management networks.
  • Develop and optimize logistics models to meet project demands, including managing procurement and logistics processes.
  • Oversee supplier onboarding, ensuring compliance with certification and commercial requirements.
  • Prepare and maintain procurement reports on project status, including weekly/monthly progress updates.
  • Manage and update the supplier register with accurate commercial documentation.
  • Collaborate with Commercial and Finance teams to meet project procurement and logistics needs.
  • Administer quality management processes, including supply claims for damages or shortages.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements and implement cost-saving supply chain processes.
  • Lead global transportation sourcing, including cost/service improvements, RFI/RFP/RFQ management, and strategic negotiations.
