Vancouver Pile Driving Ltd., a proud member of the Carlson Construction Group, is seeking a Logistics Manager to join our North Vancouver team and support the delivery of exciting upcoming projects across British Columbia—including marine terminals, bridge foundations, and coastal infrastructure developments.

️ Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage strategic relationships with suppliers, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless logistics operations.
  • Oversee procurement planning, material tracking, and delivery schedules in alignment with project timelines and budgets.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers, Site Superintendents, and Estimators to forecast material needs and mitigate supply chain risks.
  • Implement and optimize digital logistics platforms (e.g., ERP systems, inventory management software) to improve visibility and efficiency.
  • Monitor and report on logistics KPIs, including delivery performance, cost control, and inventory turnover.
  • Lead initiatives for sustainable sourcing, waste reduction, and environmentally responsible logistics practices.
  • Manage transportation logistics, including fleet coordination, route optimization, and compliance with safety regulations.
  • Resolve supply chain disruptions proactively, including expediting orders and managing emergency procurement.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • 5-8 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or procurement within the construction or industrial sector.
  • Post-secondary education in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Professional certifications such as PMAC, CPP, SCMP, or APICS (CPIM/CSCP) are considered strong assets.
  • Proven experience with ERP systems (e.g., Acumatica) and logistics software (e.g., Procore, Builder trend, or similar).
  • Strong understanding of construction project workflows and material requirements.
  • Excellent analytical, negotiation, and vendor management skills.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environments, including remote or active construction sites.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel or work flexible hours as needed.
