OVERVIEW

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Manager to oversee and enhance our logistics operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain management and possess the ability to streamline processes to improve efficiency. This role is crucial in ensuring that our products are delivered on time and in excellent condition while managing inventory levels effectively.

EXPERIENCE

• Proven experience in logistics or supply chain management roles, preferably in a warehouse or distribution environment.
• Strong knowledge of inventory management principles, warehouse management systems (WMS), and ERP systems.
• Familiarity with freight operations, transportation planning, and category management is essential.
• Experience with data analysis skills to drive decision-making processes within logistics operations.
• Proficiency in materials management practices including sourcing, procurement, and fleet management is preferred.

• Oversee transportation management, ensuring timely delivery of goods while optimizing costs.
• Utilize transportation management systems to enhance logistics operations and improve service levels.
• Analyze data to identify trends, forecast demand, and drive process improvements within the logistics framework.
• Coordinate with third-party logistics providers (3PL) for shipping and receiving operations.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices in materials handling and packaging.
• Manage order fulfillment processes, including picking & packing, dispatching, and inventory control.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support e-commerce initiatives and enhance customer satisfaction.
• Maintain effective communication with suppliers, vendors, and internal stakeholders regarding logistics operations.
