Roles & Responsibilities

• Oversee the end-to-end supply chain operations, ensuring efficient movement of goods from procurement to final delivery for fast-moving consumer goods.
• Develop and implement robust MIS reporting frameworks to provide actionable insights into inventory levels, lead times, and cost-effectiveness.
• Optimize warehouse management systems and inventory control strategies to minimize stockouts and reduce holding costs in a high-volume environment.
• Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers, negotiating contracts and monitoring performance to ensure service level agreements are met.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in logistics processes, leveraging data analytics to identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions.
• Lead the implementation and utilization of advanced logistics software and technology to enhance visibility and efficiency across the supply chain.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including import/export laws and safety standards, for FMCG products.
• Develop and manage the logistics budget, identifying cost-saving opportunities without compromising service quality.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, and production teams to align logistics strategies with business objectives and demand forecasts.
• Implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential disruptions in the supply chain, ensuring business continuity for FMCG operations.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Excellent understanding of inventory management principles and demand forecasting techniques.
• Demonstrated experience in managing third-party logistics (3PL) partnerships and performance.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly advanced Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
• Certification in Supply Chain Management (e.g., APICS CSCP) is a significant advantage.
• Adaptability and resilience to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic FMCG environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and drive data-informed decisions.
• Proven expertise in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in logistics and MIS, specifically within the FMCG sector.
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
