We are seeking motivated and detail-oriented Logistics Officer's to join our team. This role is critical in managing the receipt, storage, dispatch, and delivery of mail, equipment, and supplies within our facilities. You will play a key part in ensuring operational excellence, safety compliance, and outstanding client service. What you'll do: Manage daily freight operations, including receiving, storing, picking, dispatching, and delivering loads efficiently and accurately. Maintain compliance with safety standards, government regulations, and company policies, particularly in sensitive areas like pharmaceuticals. Operate and maintain logistics equipment responsibly and report any faults or issues promptly. Collaborate effectively with internal teams, couriers, and service providers to ensure smooth and timely logistics service delivery. Maintain clean, safe, and organized workspaces while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and operational excellence. What you'll bring: Strong communication skills with the ability to build productive working relationships. Flexible, positive attitude with a willingness to adapt to changing work practices and take on new challenges. Physically fit with the ability to perform medium to heavy lifting safely and consistently. Highly organized with excellent time management and task prioritization capabilities. Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement in all aspects of work. Previous experience in logistics or a healthcare environment preferred but not essential Proficient with Microsoft Office and comfortable learning new technical systems. Why Downer?
