  • Supply Chain & Procurement Management:
  • Oversee procurement processes, ensuring cost-effectiveness and compliance with UN, US Embassy, and US Military contractor policies.
  • Develop and maintain supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and manage vendor performance.
  • Ensure accurate documentation, inventory control, and reporting.
  • Compliance & Security:
  • Ensure adherence to international regulations, customs procedures, and trade compliance standards.
  • Implement security measures for supply chain operations, including risk assessments and mitigation strategies.
  • Work closely with government agencies, customs, and security personnel to facilitate smooth operations.
  • Contract Management & Reporting:
  • Support logistics operations under government contracts, ensuring all contractual obligations are met.
  • Prepare detailed reports on logistics performance, inventory status, and operational challenges.
  • Liaise with stakeholders, including UN agencies, embassy personnel, and military representatives.
  • Emergency & Contingency Planning:
  • Develop and implement contingency plans for emergency response, crisis management, and mission-critical logistics support.
  • Ensure operational readiness for disaster relief, humanitarian aid, and military deployment logistics.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in logistics operations with UN agencies, US Embassies, or US Military contractors.
  • Strong knowledge of international logistics regulations, procurement policies, and compliance requirements.
  • Experience in handling government contracts and working in high-security environments.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in challenging and dynamic environments with tight deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with humanitarian aid logistics, defense logistics, or diplomatic missions.
  • Knowledge of Incoterms, customs clearance, and export/import regulations, Duty Exemption procedures.
