Position Summary: We are seeking experienced Logistics Officer with backgrounds operating or directing operations in a challenging environment with a small team in support. The ideal candidate brings a detail-oriented mindset, a strong understanding of supply chain protocols, and the discipline and discretion that comes from prior specialized service. This position focuses on material movement, distribution, readiness, quality control, and strict adherence to compliance standards. Candidates must be capable of operating in dynamic environments, supporting operational continuity, and upholding safety and security protocols across all phases of supply chain execution. Travel may be required up to 75% of the time. Roles and Responsibilities Convoy Operations: Verify pallet integrity and ensure load stability before dispatch. Conduct detailed labeling checks and confirm manifest accuracy. Coordinate with transport and operations teams to ensure timely, secure, and compliant material movements. Site Management and Material Delivery Monitor site performance metrics and implement process improvements to increase throughput and accuracy. Coordinate directly with logistics planners and operations officers to adjust site activity based on convoy schedules or shifting regional needs. Coordinate the convoy rotation, unloading, and staging for distribution operations. Quality Control and Quality Assurance (QC/QA): Participate in daily inventory audits and reconciliation efforts. Support ongoing reviews of logistics processes to ensure efficiency and accuracy. Assist with routine safety inspections and recommend corrective actions when necessary. Compliance Monitoring: Enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to hygiene, storage, and material handling. Monitor security and sanitation practices across multiple classes of goods, including food, fuel, medical supplies, and sanitation materials. Identify and report any non-compliance, discrepancies, or safety concerns to supervisory staff. Requirements Basic Qualifications Prior experience as an Independent Manager of forward operations, or equivalent operational logistics role in a high-security environment. Strong working knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory systems, and convoy logistics. Demonstrated ability to conduct inspections, verify documentation, and enforce compliance protocols. Familiarity with proper handling and storage requirements for sensitive or mission-critical goods. Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to problem-solving. Capable of working independently and as part of a disciplined, high-functioning team. Must be willing to travel internationally, including active conflict zones. Must be a U.S. Citizen. Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting logistics operations in austere, expeditionary, or classified environments. Familiarity with ISO standards, military-grade logistics protocols, or federal supply chain regulations. Proficiency in logistics software platforms and digital inventory systems. Current or previous security clearance (active or eligible for reactivation). OSHA or HAZMAT certification. Physical & Travel Requirements Candidates must be physically capable of working in demanding environments, including those with limited infrastructure and elevated safety risks. The position involves frequent standing, walking, and physical activity throughout the day. Candidates must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds unassisted. All employees must comply with company safety protocols and training requirements related to high-risk travel.
