Major Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop other tasks as requested as per requests, such as reports, analysis, monthly ends closing, etc.
  • Check that the shipments comply with the data quality, making sure all mandatory spaces in Cargo Wise are fully completed.
  • Ensure that the billing is kept up to date and that the regulation of 48 hours after the delivery of the cargo is complied with.
  • Maintain the “Autorating” tool for the accounts that apply.
  • Keep the control sheet of your shipment up to date.
  • Create your work role always keeping the order and control of your shipments.
  • Work under the parameters and standards of quality and compliance of the company.
  • Immediately report inconveniences, results, or problems related to daily work to your manager or supervisor.
  • Work closely with sales, operations, and pricing.
  • Have cost control with suppliers to verify correct billing to Pegasus.
  • Build close relationships with suppliers and always keep contact with them.
  • Negotiate better costs as much as possible.
  • Participate in training and continuous development of their skills.
  • Update rate increases.
  • Comply with the requirements of the company’s Quality Management System.

Required Skills, Experience, and Education:

  • No experience necessary
  • Fluent in Spanish/English both verbal and written.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Desired Skills, Experience, and Education:

  • Technical Education in Customs, International Trade, or Business Administration
  • Effective communication with internal and external customers.
  • Creative, innovative, and proactive.
  • Good planning and organizational skills.
  • Decision-making capacity.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Good customer service.

Physical Requirements:

  • Remain in a stationary/seated position for an extended period.
  • Regularly required to operate a computer, telephone, keyboard, and other office machinery.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements due to computer work.
  • The ability to hear, understand, and distinguish speech and/or other sounds.
