Position Overview: Seeking detail-oriented person to oversee/manage the daily on ground operations of the logistics department. This includes in bound and out bound vehicles, production staging, and delivery schedules. This person will be responsible for the daily outputs and efficiency of the logistics team. Key Responsibilities: Directly oversee daily activities of Dispatcher, Chassis Check In, and Porter to ensure task completion. Directly oversee the completion of all vehicle staging to meet the needs of production. Keep daily and accurate tracking of the Pick and Pack process Maintain and enforce delivery schedules for all units Oversee the battery exercising program Enforce all safety rules and ensure compliance throughout the department on a day-to-day basis Contribute to accurate inventory of all vehicles on property Continuous improvement: Strive to make all processes as efficient as possible and follow the Industry Best standards Daily and Weekly reporting of operational KPIs to the Logistics Manager Qualifications and Education Requirements: Preferred bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or related field. Prior experience in logistics or manufacturing environment. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under tight deadlines. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, (Excel, Word, etc.) and ERP Software. Strong problem-solving skills during high volume hours and manage high pressure situations.
Responsibilities
Oversee daily ground operations of the logistics department, including inbound/outbound vehicles and production staging. Manage the logistics team to ensure efficiency, safety compliance, and accurate KPI reporting to the Logistics Manager.
