JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Logistics Supervisor to oversee and enhance our supply chain operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing logistics processes, ensuring efficient order fulfillment, and optimizing warehouse management. This role requires strong leadership skills and the ability to work collaboratively with various teams to ensure timely delivery of products while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.

REQUIREMENTS

• Proven experience in operations management within a logistics or supply chain environment.
• Strong understanding of materials handling, shipping, receiving, and warehouse management principles.
• Familiarity with CMMS software and its application in logistics operations.
• Experience working with 3PL providers is preferred.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong analytical skills to assess logistics performance metrics and identify areas for improvement.
• Effective communication skills for collaboration with internal teams and external partners.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving with a focus on continuous improvement.

• Oversee daily logistics operations, including shipping, receiving, and distribution center activities.
• Manage materials handling processes to ensure efficient movement of goods throughout the supply chain.
• Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking inventory and equipment maintenance.
• Collaborate with third-party logistics (3PL) providers to streamline operations and reduce costs.
• Procure necessary materials and supplies to meet production demands effectively.
• Ensure accurate order fulfillment by monitoring inventory levels and managing warehouse space efficiently.
• Develop and implement logistics strategies that enhance operational efficiency and improve service levels.
• Train and supervise logistics staff to maintain high performance standards.
