BrightFarms' fresh lettuce options, from classic greens to crunchy mixes and salad kits, are available in more than 4,500 retail stores across the East Coast, Midwest, and South.  We are looking for someone who will help us keep weekend and early-week shipments on track. You’ll monitor live truck locations, spot issues early, and make sure the right people are looped in fast so customers get timely, accurate updates. Schedule: Friday 13:00–18:00; Saturday 07:00–12:00; Sunday 07:00–12:00; Monday 07:00–12:00 Weekly Hours: 20 What an average week looks like: * Friday: Tive by 14:00 → status emails by 16:00 → phone follow-ups by 17:00 → all updates complete by 17:00 * Saturday–Monday: Tive by 10:00 → status emails by 11:00 → phone follow-ups by 12:00 → all updates complete by 12:00 * Escalation speed: ≥ 95% of flagged loads escalated to on-call within 30 minutes * Service guardrail: Weekend responsiveness improves while overall delivery performance holds Specifically, you will:  * Use Tive geo-tracking to compare truck locations with the load plan and appointment times; flag AT RISK, DELAYED, or MISSED APPT loads * Run a Tive pass (live location/ETA), an email pass (carrier status), then a phone pass (close gaps, confirm ETAs) * Capture concise notes and timestamps so the weekday team starts with complete information * Notify the on-call lead within 30 minutes for any flagged load, including load ID, current status, ETA, and the specific ask * Support Saturday scheduling workflows so early-week departures are fully lined up * Coordinate with carriers and farms; send short follow-up emails to confirm actions taken * Learn core Logistics Coordinator routines (tracking, documentation, escalation playbooks) to provide PTO/sick-day coverage and build toward future coordinator opportunities * Other duties as assigned The ideal candidate:  * Has experience in trucking, brokerage, carrier operations, or supply-chain coordination (food/retail a plus) * Strong judgment and urgency under time pressure; comfortable making and documenting quick decisions * Clear written and verbal communication; crisp call notes and follow-up emails * Proficiency with Tive (or similar telematics), spreadsheets (Excel/Google Sheets), and basic TMS workflows * Reliable availability for the stated weekend schedule Tools used: * Tive for live location and temperature checks * Company TMS/trackers (Excel or Google Sheets) * Email and phone for confirmations and escalations  BrightFarms is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer - All qualified applicants/employees will receive consideration for employment without regard to that individual’s age, race, color, religion or creed, national origin or ancestry, sex (including pregnancy), sexual orientation, gender, gender identity, physical or mental disability, veteran status, genetic information, ethnicity, citizenship, or any other characteristic protected by law.
