Responsibilities
  • Coordinate with the area recycling facilities to optimally schedule CMC and 3rd party trucks to deliver their load
  • Coordinate with other CMC facilities or 3rd party customers in bringing materials back in to the area
  • Regularly communicate with the drivers, carriers, dispatchers, customers, and facility personnel to review any issues, challenges, or needs to ensure on time delivery and high levels of internal and external customer service
  • Obtain accurate information relating to site requirements, contacts, and expected delivery dates.
  • Proactively manage customer accounts including customer contact with pending delivery issues and resolutions
  • Track deliveries to ensure they’re on time
  • Work with mill/fab dispatch personnel to fully optimize the CMC fleet when needed
  • Collect POD’s from carriers for the billing needs of the customers
  • Foster strong business relationships with carriers and site personnel
  • Prepares summary reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
  • Assist with development of best practices and coordination across LOB’s to support operational excellence
  • Ensure all jobs are completed in a proficient and safe manner
