JOB SUMMARY

The Logistics Planner – International is responsible for the global shipment from PO placement to final receipt. This role ensures seamless execution of international shipments by collaborating with suppliers, freight forwarders, and internal stakeholders to meet cost, compliance, and on-time delivery goals.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

· 3+ years of experience within the international logistics and/or procurement planning field
· Bachelor degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field preferred.
· Proficiency within ERP/MRP systems, experience with NetSuite is highly desirable.
· Strong understanding of international freight modes, customs regulations, and international trade compliance
· Familiarity with incoterms, HTS codes, and global sourcing strategies
· Ability to multitask, prioritize and make decisions in a fast-paced procurement environment.
· Must have the ability to communicate effectively
· Must have the ability to work with minimum supervision
· Must be able to work effectively across multiple departments
· Must have knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
· Must be able to work in a fast pace environment
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year

Responsibilities
  • Manage the end-to-end international supply chain process from PO entry to delivery; ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and alignment with customer needs
  • Plan, schedule, and coordinate shipments to meet delivery timeliness and cost objectives, while maintaining preferred stocking levels to meet forecasted demand
  • Monitor and track all international shipments, proactively addressing any delays or issues to maintain on-time delivery metrics
  • Maintain accurate PO, shipment, and delivery data in ERP and logistics systems
  • Communicate PO status and current ETA to internal stakeholders including senior leadership, procurement, planning, and customer service
  • Ensure all documentation is complete and compliant with international trade requirements
  • Support the Sourcing Manager and Logistics Manager drive supplier performance by reporting on schedule adherence, on time shipment percentage, documentation accuracy, and current shipment lead time
