Job Summary
We are looking for a proactive Logistics / Port Coordinator to manage port operations and act as the liaison between port agents, cargo owners, and the company. The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to ensure smooth cargo handling and vessel turnaround.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with port agents, cargo owners, and shipping lines for efficient port operations.
  • Arrange berthing schedules, cargo handling, and vessel clearance.
  • Monitor vessel arrival, departure, and turnaround times.
  • Ensure accurate documentation for port and customs clearance.
  • Liaise with internal departments (operations, commercial, and technical teams) for seamless execution.
  • Track cargo movements, bunker supply, and other port-related activities.
  • Resolve on-ground operational issues to minimize delays and costs.
  • Maintain strong working relationships with port authorities and stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in logistics, port coordination, or shipping operations.
  • Strong knowledge of port procedures, customs clearance, and documentation.
  • Excellent communication, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple port activities simultaneously.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Maritime Studies, or related field.
  • Fluency in English (Arabic is an advantage).
