Job Description As our Logistics Process Engineer, you will be responsible for: Planning and design of layouts and system concepts for AUTODOC’s Distribution Centers, covering storage, picking, packing, and dispatch areas. Assessing the technical and operational feasibility of new layouts and system changes, ensuring scalability, safety, and performance. Translating operational requirements into detailed technical specifications and engineering documentation (layouts, equipment lists, material-flow concepts). Conducting capacity, throughput, and space-utilization analyses to validate design assumptions and optimize future expansions. Presenting analyses, project results, and operational insights to stakeholders across all levels of the organization. Supporting the implementation of new or upgraded systems (racking, conveyors, automation, and packing lines vs. storage solutions and material handling equipment) together with suppliers, contractors, and internal project managers. Ensuring all designs comply with fire protection, occupational health and safety (OHS), and building regulations. Supporting tendering processes by preparing technical documentation, reviewing supplier proposals, and validating engineering deliverables. Close collaboration with Operations, Maintenance, OHS, Facility and Fulfillment Excellence teams to align engineering solutions with operational needs. Participation in group-wide logistics engineering and infrastructure projects, with occasional travel between AUTODOC sites across Europe. Participation in industry trade fairs and conferences to expand skills and knowledge of modern intralogistics solutions. Qualifications What we're looking for: Degree in Logistics Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field 3+ years of experience in logistics, industrial, or systems engineering, ideally with warehouse or intralogistics projects Strong background in layout and material-flow design, equipment specification, and feasibility or capacity analysis Experience in presenting analyses, project outcomes, and insights to stakeholders across all levels of the organization Experience in supplier coordination, tender preparation, and technical evaluation Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D/3D layout design) and MS Office; experience with Visio, Revit, or simulation tools is an advantage Skills in preparing and interpreting technical documentation, drawings, and specifications Familiarity with warehouse systems (racking, conveyors, automation, packaging technologies) Understanding of OHS, fire safety, and building regulations relevant to warehouse environments Business fluency in English & Polish. Fluency in German or Russian is a plus Hands-on approach combined with a strong sense of ownership Very good analytical and communication skills Willingness to travel occasionally to European Distribution Centers.
