Logistics QC Operative - Days Derby, UK Rate of Pay: £13.31/hour (plus 20% night uplift) About The Team: Logistics QC Operative is responsible for the uninterrupted flow of goods In and boxes out; you will ensure the quality and accuracy of all goods In (NON PHF) items from internal transfers and suppliers are checked thoroughly including use by dates, minimum life on receipt compliance, pallet stacking, and ingredient quality while verifying that outbound pallets are staged in the correct locations and trailers are loaded correctly as per carrier, ensuring all issues are reported immediately, tickets are raised, and your line manager is informed, all while helping to maintain high standards within the inbound/outbound areas and consistently demonstrating a positive outlook on safety and quality. What You Will Be Doing: Raise and escalate food safety and quality issues following the internal escalation process and ensuring clear and effective communication. Carry out routine processes such as, but not limited to, temperature monitoring, and probe calibration checks. Ensuring that Food Safety and Health & Safety standards are met and sustainably maintained. You are required to cooperate with HelloFresh in all health and safety matters. You are responsible for ensuring your own health, safety and welfare in the activities you undertake. You must report incidents immediately and actively raise health and safety-related concerns to your Line Manager. Undertaking basic problem solving activities and escalating to the FSQA, where necessary. Ensure all finished goods are quality checked and correctly palletised according to the courier and shipping location. Ensuring compliance with Standard Operating Procedures and Instructions. Undertaking audits and following through on actions regarding compliance to Food Safety; and any other specified standards eg: BRCGS Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the Inbound/Outbound areas including workstations, storage areas, and equipment. Being involved in ad hoc projects as and when required. You may be required to handle a full range of Hello Fresh products, including alcohol, pork, beef and other animal products. Any other responsibilities/duties which would be reasonably expected as part of this role Who You Are: Previous experience working within the food industry. Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Software. Familiarity with food production processes. Familiarity with food safety and quality standards. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Proactive and resourceful problem-solving skills. Excellent time management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
