Description

As a Logistics Sales Representative, you’ll be responsible for identifying, qualifying, and closing new business opportunities with small to mid-sized companies. You’ll be selling [e.g., LTL/partial, FTL, last-mile delivery, white glove/expedite, warehousing, drayage, or technology-enabled logistics solutions], building long-term relationships, and working closely with operations and account development departments to ensure client satisfaction. The focus will be targeting a customer base with predominantly spot freight opportunities.

QUALIFICATIONS:

A successful candidate must possess the following traits/skills:

  • 2–5 years of sales experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain
  • 2+ years of proven success in a sales/account management role
  • Proven track record of hitting or exceeding sales quotas
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Experience selling to small and medium-sized businesses is a plus
  • Familiarity with CRM tools like Salesforce
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
  • Self-starter with a passion for helping businesses solve operational challenges
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities
  • Identify and prospect small-to-medium clients through outbound efforts, referrals, and inbound leads
  • Conduct discovery calls and needs assessments to understand clients’ logistics challenges
  • Develop tailored proposals and deliver compelling sales presentations
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service agreements in collaboration with leadership
  • Onboard new clients and work with internal teams to ensure a seamless handoff to the ADR team
  • Develop SOPs with the Account Development team
  • Maintain CRM records and forecast sales performance
  • Achieve/exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets
