As a Logistics Sales Trainee, you’ll build your own book of business from the ground up. Sourcing and selling to shippers who need help moving containers from ports and rail yards.

Responsibilities
  • Build your own book of business by prospecting new clients specifically in the drayage space
  • Learn how to negotiate and close deals that move freight across the U.S. and Mexico
  • Make 60+ outbound calls per day to connect with decision-makers in the logistics world (shipping lines, freight forwarders, port authorities)
  • Utilize your exceptional negotiation skills to reach mutually beneficial agreements with clients, carriers, and suppliers
  • Stay on the cutting edge of industry trends, keeping a finger on the pulse of the drayage landscape to capitalize on emerging opportunities
  • Collaborate with team mates to ensure smooth and efficient drayage operations
