Job Description Scope of Position: Supply Chain Visibility & Security Monitoring Command Centre Operator Major Duties and Responsibilities: Logistics Security Analyst are responsible for monitoring transport of cargo in transit worldwide. This position is part of an experienced team of logistics security experts responsible for day-to-day operations of the Cargo Signal Command Center focused on reducing the potential for losses of vulnerable cargo using enhanced security protocols, tracking and technology tools, and service provider management and development. Staff the command center with reliability and punctuality Participate in and help build a team environment Transpose information from documents or other sources into the monitoring software, ensuring accurate and timely data entry Actively monitor global cargo shipments to ensure compliance with security protocols Track and trace shipments using internal and external applications and by telephone/e-mail to service provider Provide shipment status updates to customers by e-mail and phone Respond to emergency alarms and exceptions according to company procedures Understand documented requirements and correctly interpret this information to fulfill customer instructions and expectations Promote compliance in diligently following all company policies and regulations and performing the task at hand with outstanding integrity and pride Escalate problems to management when necessary Participate in shift-level exercises and incident response drills Qualifications Qualifications Passion for logistics (air, ocean, trucking, distribution, risk management) Exceptional English communication skills, both oral and written Customer service skills/oriented Problem-solver focused on continuous improvement of protocols and processes Familiarity with equipment used, including software, GPS trackers, and cellular networks Aptitude for resolute questioning to find the root cause when given incomplete information Sense of urgency and quality-obsessed approach to timely and accurate information Respect for global regulatory compliance procedures and integrity to uphold them at all times Positive and willing-to-help attitude Adhere to the company’s 10 cultural attributes: Appearance, Attitude, Confidence, Curiosity, Excellence, Integrity, Pride, Resolute, Sense of Humor, and Visionary Additional Information Must be amenable to flexible work schedule - 4 or 5days per week.
