About the job

• The Logistics Specialist will support the Regional Logistics Manager by managing daily operations, ensuring process efficiency, accurate data management and timely problem resolution. The incumbent shall be located in our office in Bingen or open to comute at least 2 days a week .This role acts like the key interface between 3rd party provider (warehouse) and VPG internal customer. Main Roles and Responsibilities: Lead the daily operation and work with the 3rd party provider (warehouse) 
• Act as the first level support for inquiries from carriers, customs, and internal teams 
• Proactively track shipments, communicate updates, and handle special shipment requests 
• Act as compliance support (Customs, Sox, etc.) 
• Point of contact for regional Logistics software support (QAD/TMS, etc.) 
• Manage RMA:  part of Global Reverse Logistics 
• Capture and maintain accurate Logistics data to support current and future operational needs 
• Backup for the Regional Logistics Manager during vacations, illness, or other absences

• Willingness to travel regularly to our site in Bingen am Rhein  
• Strong command of German & English (written and spoken)
