Description

TARGETED START DATE: IMMEDIATELY. RELOCATION PROVIDED.

Since its founding in 2015, 1X has been at the forefront of developing advanced humanoid robots designed for household use. Our mission is to create an abundant supply of labor via safe, intelligent humanoids.
We strive for excellence in all we do, solving some of the hardest problems in robotics with the world’s most talented individuals. Every part of our robots is designed and produced in-house—from motor coils to AI—reflecting our vertically integrated approach. At 1X, you’ll own real projects, be recognized for your achievements, and rewarded based on merit.
We believe the best work is done when collaborating and therefore require in-person presence in our office locations.
As we scale from research and development to full-scale manufacturing, we are looking for an experienced Logistics Specialist to oversee and manage all inbound and outbound shipments for our global supply chain. This role will be responsible for negotiating shipping methods, establishing shipping lanes for U.S. imports, and ensuring compliance with international trade regulations.
The Logistics Specialist will work closely with suppliers, freight forwarders, and internal teams to optimize logistics operations while ensuring cost efficiency and timely deliveries. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of U.S. import/export documentation, trade regulations, and Incoterms, as well as experience with Asia-Pacific, North American, and international trade agreements.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in logistics, international shipping, and trade compliance.
  • Strong understanding of U.S. import/export regulations, tariffs, and tax requirements.
  • Familiarity with Asia-Pacific exports and North American trade agreements (USMCA, FTAs).
  • Expertise in Incoterms, trade documentation, and customs clearance processes.
  • Proven ability to negotiate shipping contracts and optimize freight costs.
  • Experience managing truck, sea, and air transport logistics.
  • Proficiency in ERP/logistics management software.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to improve logistics efficiency.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills for supplier and carrier management.
