AERONES is looking for a skilled and motivated Logistics Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating and optimizing the logistics and supply chain operations to ensure the timely and efficient delivery of products and services. You will play a crucial role in enhancing our operational effectiveness and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Organize international freight shipments and prepare necessary shipping documentation. Coordinate courier deliveries and ensure on-time delivery of ordered goods when not handled by suppliers. Oversee the packing process of international shipments, including dangerous goods. Handle import and export customs formalities and resolve customs-related issues within project scopes. Support the logistics needs of our U.S. department. Ensure correct packaging, labeling, and documentation for dangerous goods in compliance with regulations. Communicate with project managers and shipment recipients regarding delivery status. Negotiate prices and contracts with carriers. Develop, implement, and maintain the company’s logistics policies, systems, and procedures. Provide regular reports and improvement suggestions to the direct manager. Foster a collaborative and professional reputation for the logistics department within the organization. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a logistics specialist or similar role. Excellent command of Latvian and English (written and spoken). Experience with ERP systems is an advantage. Knowledge of customs procedures. Experience with dangerous goods packaging and a valid DGR certificate is preferred. Strong computer skills (Google Docs, Google Drive). Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Problem-solving mindset, flexibility, and accountability. Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality and accuracy. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
