Description Position Title: Logistics Specialist Reports to: Operations Manager Location: Baltimore, MD Employment Status: Full-Time Work Schedule: Full-Time, M-F, core work hours are from 9:30am to 2:30pm FLSA Status: Exempt Position Summary: Aldevra is currently seeking a qualified Logistics Specialist (SLU) to support the Surface Forces Logistics Center (SFLC), Ice Breaker, Buoy, and Construction Tender Product Line (IBCTPL) in Baltimore, MD. This position is contingent upon contract award. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: Creating SLU type projects in the SFLC Knowledge Library or equivalent. Updating and tracking milestones, ensuring that all applicable logistics artifacts have been completed. Originate and process for approval CG-22 forms. Draft, process, and complete Simple Logistics Updates as assigned, in accordance with current SFLC Process and Desk Guide. Conduct market research into CG-22 validity, obsolete part support, and other technical matters in support of EC and SLU development. Create verbal and written reports and metrics of program performance as needed. Monitor, maintain, and update for review applicable historical files as assigned for the administration of the Engineering Branch. Complete other Engineering Administration support task as directed by the COR. All other duties as assigned. Requirements Security Requirements: Must be able to obtain CAC clearance. This position requires passing an extensive background check. Qualifications: 2 years of experience in logistics or a related field Associates’ degree in Logistics, Industrial Technology, or a related technical field. Familiar with SFLC change record inputs in support of updating parts information as it relates to APLs. Must have experience with reading and interpreting equipment technical manuals, diagrams, and drawings. Must have basic knowledge of Equipment/System Integrated Logistics Support Plans (EILSPs) and Equipment Support Sheets (ESSs). Must have experience in the operation, repair, and support of Hull, Mechanical, and Electrical (HM&E) equipment. Have basic knowledge using the Fleet Logistics System (FLS), Naval & Electronics Supply Support System (NESSS), and Electronic Asset Logbook (EAL). Recent experience is preferred. For the purposes of this Task Order, recent experience is within the last five years.
