Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Logistics Coordinator – Courier Relations to manage and strengthen our partnerships with major courier companies. This role is critical in ensuring smooth communication, issue resolution, and operational efficiency across all express delivery services. The ideal candidate has a solid understanding of courier billing systems, operations, and service negotiation.
Key Responsibilities
· Act as the primary liaison between POLYDYN INC. and courier company account managers and dispatch teams.
· Monitor and audit courier billing statements; identify and proactively correct discrepancies.
· Manage service issues such as parcel interception, delivery exceptions, and claims processing.
· Negotiate shipping rates and service agreements with courier representatives to secure optimal terms.
· Coordinate shipment volumes and courier capacity during peak seasons to ensure timely dispatch and delivery.
· Track and resolve customer concerns related to overcharges, delivery delays, and service failures.
· Compile courier performance data regularly and provide improvement recommendations.
· Use Excel or other tools to analyze billing data, shipping trends, and service efficiency.
· Collaborate closely with internal warehouse and customer service teams to enhance logistics performance.
· Communicate effectively in both Mandarin and English, in writing and verbally.
Qualifications
· Fluent in Mandarin and English (both spoken and written).
· Prior experience in the logistics, courier, or express delivery industry is preferred.
· Familiar with operations and billing structures of UPS, FedEx, Purolator, Canada Post, and other courier services.
· Strong negotiation, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis/reporting tools.
· Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
· Experience in third-party logistics (3PL) operations is a strong asset.
