Description
Own end-to-end logistics for Smartplus: international inbound from vendors and domestic distribution to customers/branches. You’ll coordinate multi-step workflows (booking → documentation → customs → delivery) with rigorous follow-ups, drive OTIF (On-Time In-Full), and use AI tools to boost speed, accuracy, and visibility. Key Responsibilities International Inbound: Plan/book air/sea/express; track ETD/ETA and milestones; verify invoice, packing list, HS codes, CoO, insurance, AWB/BL; coordinate customs clearance (via broker) and delivery to warehouses. Domestic Distribution: Schedule inter-branch transfers and last-mile deliveries; ensure clean POD and timely status updates. Carriers: Compare spot quotes vs. rate cards; monitor SLAs (pickup, transit time, damages); file & recover claims for damage/shortage. ERP & Documentation: Ensure accurate ASN/GRN, labeling, and reconciliation in ERP (Zoho Inventory/Books or similar). Performance & Reporting: Track and improve OTIF, clearance lead time, freight cost per kg/m³, and damage/shortage rate. AI-Enabled Operations: Use AI/copilots for exception summaries, delay risk flags, auto-drafted supplier/customer updates, OCR data capture from invoices/AWBs, and live trackers. Process & Compliance: Maintain SOPs/checklists, escalate risks early, and keep stakeholders informed (Sales/Finance/Planning). Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business, or related field. Experience: 3–5 years hands-on logistics (inbound + domestic) with proven OTIF ownership and measurable improvement. Technical Knowledge: Working grasp of Incoterms 2020, HS classification basics, and landed-cost components. Tools: ERP (Zoho/SAP B1/Odoo/NetSuite), strong Excel (INDEX-MATCH/VLOOKUP, Pivots); familiarity with AI tools , and simple no-code automation (e.g., Power Automate/Zapier). Communication: Professional Arabic & English to coordinate with brokers, suppliers, carriers, and internal teams. Organization & Follow-Through: Exceptional task management for multi-step processes with persistent follow-ups and clean documentation. Work Eligibility & Availability: Legal right to work in KSA; able to travel to KSA warehouses/clients; willing to handle urgent clearances/deliveries outside normal hours when needed. Professional Integrity: Attention to detail, data accuracy, and compliance with company policies and local regulations. Nice to Have Exposure to KSA distribution workflows (FASAH/SABER via broker). Lithium-battery shipping/packaging know-how. 3PL mini-tenders, routing guides, and carrier scorecards. Certifications (APICS CPIM/CSCP, CILT, FIATA) or logistics safety training.
