Description
Key Responsibilities * Coordinate inbound shipments of raw materials, components and production-related goods to ensure on-time delivery. * Manage import and export documentation in compliance with applicable customs regulations and company procedures. * Coordinate customs clearance activities with customs brokers and relevant authorities. * Prepare, review and maintain shipping, customs and transportation documentation accurately and on time. * Plan and monitor international and intercompany material transfers between manufacturing sites. * Collaborate with suppliers, freight forwarders and logistics service providers to optimize transportation performance. * Maintain close communication with logistics teams across other manufacturing locations to ensure smooth execution of material transfers. * Track shipments proactively and resolve transportation or customs-related issues to minimize operational impact. * Support inventory accuracy by ensuring timely system transactions and proper documentation. * Participate in logistics improvement initiatives aimed at reducing lead times, transportation costs and operational risks. * Ensure compliance with company policies as well as local and international trade regulations. Qualifications * Bachelor's degree or Associate Degree in Logistics, International Trade, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or a related field is an asset. * Minimum 3 years of experience in logistics, import/export operations or customs processes within a manufacturing environment. * Strong knowledge of customs procedures, international transportation and import/export documentation. * Experience in coordinating international shipments and intercompany transfers. * Fluent written and spoken English is mandatory. * Experience with ERP systems (preferably SAP) and Microsoft Office applications. * Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. * Knowledge of Incoterms and international trade practices is considered an advantage.
