To strengthen our team at the Frankfurt location, we are looking for a Logistics Specialist for Sea Freight Import (m/f/d) who will independently manage international transport processes.

Tasks

• Independent planning and handling of international sea freight import shipments (LCL, FCL and OOG)
• Implementation and coordination of import customs clearance
• Communication with shipping companies, port authorities, customs authorities, and national and international partners.
• Organization of goods receipt at the receiving ports
• Planning and control of the on-carriage including coordination with transport companies
• Ensuring economical, timely and high-quality transport processing
• Support and advice for your customers throughout the entire import process

Skills & Requirements

• Successfully completed vocational training as a freight forwarding and logistics services clerk or a comparable qualification
• Professional experience in the operational handling of sea freight import shipments (AZ)
• Good knowledge of import customs clearance and customs processing.
• Proficient use of common MS Office applications
• Excellent German skills and good English skills, both spoken and written.
• A structured, independent work style as well as strong service and communication skills.
