Job Title: Logistics Specialist

Location: Dubai, UAE

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Logistics Specialist with strong healthcare industry and international logistics experience to manage end-to-end logistics operations for medical supplies, equipment, pharmaceuticals, and other healthcare requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end international logistics and shipping operations for healthcare and medical supplies.
• Coordinate import/export shipments by air, sea, and land.
• Liaise with international suppliers, freight forwarders, shipping lines, customs agents, and logistics partners.
• Handle shipping and import/export documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, Bills of Lading, Certificates of Origin, and customs documents.
• Track shipments from supplier dispatch through final delivery and proactively resolve delays, shortages, damages, and other issues.
• Coordinate customs clearance and ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate the transportation and delivery of medical equipment, consumables, pharmaceuticals, and hospital supplies.
• Monitor inventory, stock movement, delivery schedules, and replenishment requirements.
• Coordinate with healthcare departments to understand urgent and operational requirements.
• Maintain accurate logistics, shipment, supplier, and inventory records.
• Negotiate freight rates and coordinate with logistics providers to optimize costs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 3–5+ years of experience in international logistics, preferably within healthcare, hospitals, medical supplies, pharmaceuticals, or medical equipment.
• Strong hands-on experience with international shipping, import/export, customs clearance, and freight forwarding.
• Experience coordinating air, sea, and land transportation.
• Experience working with international suppliers and logistics partners and Incoterms.
• Strong knowledge of inventory and warehouse coordination.
• Excellent negotiation, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP/logistics management systems.
• Ability to manage multiple shipments and urgent requirements independently.
