As a key member of the supply chain team, the Logistics Specialist will manage and execute the import logistics and reporting functions for ITW Global Tire Repair. This role acts as a trusted partner, building strong relationships with carriers, forwarders, brokers, and other logistics service providers, and ensuring prioritized product availability and cost efficiency.
The Logistics Specialist maintains the Import Tracking Master as the main communication tool for the supply chain, develops accurate, timely reporting and analytics, and works closely with production, planning, and other departments to ensure on-time customer delivery.

Coordinate import shipments with production and planning teams, providing countermeasures as needed to ensure on-time customer delivery.
Vendor and Partner Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with carriers, forwarders, brokers, and other logistics service providers. Negotiate rates, pricing agreements, and contracts with transportation providers to secure competitive market rates.
Reporting and Analytics: Maintain the Import Tracking Master as the primary supply chain communication tool. Develop and deliver accurate, timely reporting and analytics, including weekly inbound summary reports for key stakeholders. Maintain metrics, reports, and process documentation to support effective decision-making.
Program and Process Management: Oversee the operational aspects of our customer Direct Import program, including PO booking reporting, inventory receiving, and trade document preparation. Support monthly supply chain reporting. Participate in logistics RFQs to ensure competitive rates and drive continuous cost improvement.
Financial Review and Controls: Review and approve invoices to ensure accuracy and alignment with negotiated terms and budgets.
