Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage daily logistics and transportation activities to ensure timely delivery of goods and materials.
- Plan and monitor shipments, deliveries, collections, and transfers while ensuring accurate documentation.
- Coordinate with suppliers, customers, freight forwarders, couriers, and transport companies regarding shipments and delivery schedules.
- Prepare and verify shipping documents, invoices, packing lists, delivery notes, and other logistics-related documentation.
- Track shipments and provide regular updates on delivery status, delays, and expected arrival times.
- Arrange local and international shipments, including air, sea, and road transportation.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures, customs requirements, import/export regulations, and applicable logistics policies.
- Monitor inventory movement and coordinate with warehouse teams to ensure accurate receiving, storage, and dispatch of goods.
- Maintain accurate logistics records, shipment reports, and delivery documentation.
- Coordinate with the Finance and Accounts team regarding freight costs, shipping invoices, and related payments.
- Review transportation and logistics costs and identify opportunities to reduce expenses and improve efficiency.
- Resolve shipment discrepancies, delivery issues, damages, and delays in coordination with relevant departments and service providers.
- Liaise with internal departments to understand logistics requirements and ensure smooth order fulfillment.
- Maintain good relationships with logistics providers, suppliers, and other business partners.
- Prepare regular reports on shipments, delivery performance, transportation costs, and logistics activities.
- Support logistics planning and process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Ensure all logistics activities are completed accurately, efficiently, and within required timelines.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of logistics, transportation, shipping, and supply chain processes.
- Good understanding of import/export and customs procedures.
- Excellent coordination and communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Good negotiation and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple shipments and priorities simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
- Experience with ERP, inventory, or logistics management systems is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
- Ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Relevant experience in logistics, shipping, transportation, or supply chain operations.
- Experience in local and international shipment coordination is preferred.
- Knowledge of UAE logistics and customs procedures is an advantage.
- Good command of written and spoken English.
Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED5,500.00 per month
