About the role
For our Nexperia logistics team we are looking for a logistics specialist located in Hamburg, who supports local logistics processes. The logistics organization is part of our Supply Chain Management organization.
What you will do
- Support the logistics operations in Hamburg on processes and cost efficiency
- Close alignment to the local warehouse manager to support all main stakeholder in Hamburg in sync with the overall global logistics strategy
- Operational export customs processing
- Timely planning and processing of shipping orders incl. all related procedures and processes
- Contact person for specific logistics topics at local warehouse in Hamburg like carrier management, freight auditing, system & procedure related to logistics ops., logistics and financial reporting
- Project support for various kinds of logistics projects potentially on international scale with regards to optimization, quality, warehouse operations, efficiency, supply chain, SAP enhancements, system interface changes
- Daily operations for shipping/invoicing via SAP
What you will need
- Vocational training in a commercial field
- Extensive professional experience in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, freight forwarding business in an international environment preferred
- Comprehensive knowledge of MS-Office, SAP knowledge preferred
- Independent and very precise way of working
- Team player with ability to interact with different departments
- Good analytical, financial and communication skills
- Business fluent in German and good English skills
