Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage daily logistics and transportation activities to ensure timely delivery of goods and materials.
• Plan and monitor shipments, deliveries, collections, and transfers while ensuring accurate documentation.
• Coordinate with suppliers, customers, freight forwarders, couriers, and transport companies regarding shipments and delivery schedules.
• Prepare and verify shipping documents, invoices, packing lists, delivery notes, and other logistics-related documentation.
• Track shipments and provide regular updates on delivery status, delays, and expected arrival times.
• Arrange local and international shipments, including air, sea, and road transportation.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures, customs requirements, import/export regulations, and applicable logistics policies.
• Monitor inventory movement and coordinate with warehouse teams to ensure accurate receiving, storage, and dispatch of goods.
• Maintain accurate logistics records, shipment reports, and delivery documentation.
• Coordinate with the Finance and Accounts team regarding freight costs, shipping invoices, and related payments.
• Review transportation and logistics costs and identify opportunities to reduce expenses and improve efficiency.
• Resolve shipment discrepancies, delivery issues, damages, and delays in coordination with relevant departments and service providers.
• Liaise with internal departments to understand logistics requirements and ensure smooth order fulfillment.
• Maintain good relationships with logistics providers, suppliers, and other business partners.
• Prepare regular reports on shipments, delivery performance, transportation costs, and logistics activities.
• Support logistics planning and process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Ensure all logistics activities are completed accurately, efficiently, and within required timelines.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of logistics, transportation, shipping, and supply chain processes.
• Good understanding of import/export and customs procedures.
• Excellent coordination and communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Good negotiation and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple shipments and priorities simultaneously.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
• Experience with ERP, inventory, or logistics management systems is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
• Ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Relevant experience in logistics, shipping, transportation, or supply chain operations.
• Experience in local and international shipment coordination is preferred.
• Knowledge of UAE logistics and customs procedures is an advantage.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
