Responsibilities
  • Execute all TIB repair import processes accurately and within required timelines.
  • Assist the NAM Customs COE team with bond obligations, data gathering, and documentation preparation.
  • Ensure correct classification and filing of all documentation, including “Imported for Repair and Reexport” notations.
  • Establish and manage the RMA (Return Material Authorization) process for repair returns, including coordination with Mexico and Canada.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers to forecast expected shipments prior to arrival.
  • Track TIB timelines to ensure timely exportation or destruction, avoiding penalties.
  • Maintain complete, audit-ready records of all TIB transactions.
  • Provide guidance to stakeholders (Project Managers, Operations, etc.) on TIB repair requirements and procedures.
  • Deliver monthly status reports on TIB activities, timelines, and compliance metrics.
  • Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and compliance.
