LOGISTICS SR. BUYER (ARGENTINA)

We are looking for a profile capable of playing a strategic role in the area of Logistics Purchasing by performing data intelligence, business intelligence and evaluating logistics costs to manage the strategic purchasing process.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineer, or related Careers.
  • +3 years of previous experience in similar positions ( Purchasing , Foreign Trade, Customs, Supply Chain Organization or related).

EXPERIENCE IN SUPPLIER SOURCING, PRICING ANALYSIS, NEGOTIATIONS, AND INDICATOR MONITORING IS REQUIRED.

  • Microsoft Office: intermediate level.
  • English: intermediate level.
  • Availability to work in Rosario, Santa Fe, Argentina in a hybrid regime (3 times per week in person = Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday).

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Active Driver´s licence.
  • Knowledge of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
  • Knowledge of Data Tools/PowerBI.
  • Experience working with Agile/Opex methodologies.
  • Knowledge of Portuguese.
    For this position, relocation/transfer assistance will not be available.
Responsibilities
  • Determine and execute appropriate sourcing strategies in accordance with policies and procedures.
  • Create an environment that drives suppliers to excellence in execution. Foster supplier relationships.
  • Enable the organization to conduct current state workforce analysis and future state scenario planning, predicting the operational impact of changes in Procurement on internal and external factors.
  • Monitor key procurement processes to determine capacity and demand, identifying constraints and providing appropriate analysis.
  • Drive financial results and excellence in budget management through the application of resource analysis and planning.
