Description
The Logistics Supervisor has a strong focus toward service and building strong customer relations. The Logistics Supervisor reports to the Supply Chain, Logistics Manager, and is responsible for supervising all Regional Logistics hospital related functions and staff, for hospital sites as assigned (MUMC, General and Juravinski, ensuring that operational, service, goals and objectives are met. The Logistics Supervisor is responsible for supervising all aspects of supply, top-up, stock requisitions, delivery, shipping and receiving of all goods to all end users at Hamilton Health Sciences and customers of Hamilton Health Sciences; supervising on-site inventories, including all associated systems interfaces (eg. counting, file management, product changes, etc.); is the primary contact for end-users and provides the key management liaison between Logistics and Hamilton Health Sciences customers. The Logistics Supervisor works closely with staff in Purchasing and Accounts Payable. 1. Diploma or designation in Materials Management 2. Experienced in healthcare and knowledge of products, systems and procedures 3. Materials Management experience in a large service sensitive organization 4. Proven customer service experience
