Description
SAIC is seeking a Logistics Supervisor to support US Navy in Indianapolis, IN. JOB RESPONSIBILITES: Managing all tasking associated with receiving/shipping/stowing/tracking/pulling AAE material, in concert with existing SAIC Indianapolis Shipping/Receiving Department processes: o Incoming o Outgoing o Warehousing o Processing DRMO, including DLA Repairable Asset Turn In’s, Misdirected Material Managing all tasking associated with coordinating physical distribution, order fulfillment, inventory management and control of AAE material in accordance with SAIC processes o Parts Room and Warehouse o Material Orders o AAE Inventory o Interfacing with customers during audits of GFM o Assessing near term utilization of existing inventory Miscellaneous Related Sub-tasking o Coordinate Fork Truck Training and preventative maintenance o Laser Etching o Projecting GFM part needs o Assisting with calibration of AAE tools/gages o Other related tasking as needed REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: · Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years’ experience. Additional years of experience in lieu of degree will be accepted. · Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, email · Excellent communication skills · 5+ years’ experience in: Shipping, Receiving, Inventory Management positions · No clearance required for this position.
Responsibilities
The Logistics Supervisor will manage all tasking associated with receiving, shipping, stowing, tracking, and pulling AAE material. This includes coordinating physical distribution, order fulfillment, and inventory management in accordance with SAIC processes.
