Compensation: $70,000 - $80,000

Responsibilities and Duties:
- Lead day-to-day logistics, warehouse, shipping, and receiving operations while ensuring customer, production, and delivery requirements are met.
- Supervise, schedule, train, coach, and evaluate logistics and warehouse employees, ensuring clear performance expectations and accountability.
- Coordinate shipments, receiving activities, inventory movement, and departmental workflow to support production schedules and on-time delivery.
- Develop and maintain effective inventory controls for raw materials, finished goods, equipment, and supplies.
- Monitor departmental performance, identify operational issues, and implement continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency, quality, and cost effectiveness.
- Maintain accurate logistics, inventory, maintenance, and shipment records and communicate delivery schedules or issues to internal stakeholders.
- Negotiate and identify cost-effective logistics, freight, receiving, and purchasing solutions.
- Ensure forklifts, warehouse equipment, docks, vehicles, and work areas are properly inspected, maintained, and operated safely.
- Operate forklift equipment as required to load/unload shipments and support material movement throughout the facility.
- Establish daily, weekly, and monthly departmental objectives aligned with company goals and monitor progress against targets.
- Ensure compliance with OHSA requirements, company health and safety policies, and required employee safety training.
- Partner with Production, Customer Service, Sales, HR, and other departments to resolve operational issues and improve processes.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, training, performance management, and corrective action processes for logistics employees.
- Support additional operational projects and responsibilities as required.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma/GED required; relevant college, vocational, or technical education is an asset.
- Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience, including responsibility for teams of 5+ employees, preferably in logistics, warehousing, manufacturing, or a related environment.
- Previous forklift operating experience required.
- Demonstrated leadership, coaching, team-building, and employee management skills.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work effectively across departments.
- Strong attention to detail with good mathematical and inventory-management skills.
- Experience improving warehouse or logistics processes, controlling costs, and meeting operational performance targets is an asset.
