Job Description
Interco has an opening for a Logistics Support Specialist in the company’s Logistics department. The Logistics Support Specialist will assist the Logistics Coordinators with booking domestic inbound freight.
The right candidate will be interested in the fast-paced world of logistics and global supply chain with a keen interest in moving up in the company’s Logistics department. The Logistics Support Specialist is responsible for entering data into the company’s TMS, taking direction from senior logistics team members, and following direction as needed.
Qualifications

Responsibilities Include:

  • Communicate with carriers
  • Book loads
  • Schedule deliveries
  • Enter and manage data in the Interco TMS, ensuring accuracy and completeness
  • Monitor and follow up on orders, track progress and update files as needed
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and alignment
  • Perform other related duties as assigned, supporting the broader logistics team

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in logistics is a plus
  • Proficient in relevant software and tools (MS Office) with a willingness to learn new systems as needed
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to adapt to changing situations
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • A degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business or related field or equivalent experience is preferred

Compensation:

  • $50,000-$60,000 Annual Salary commensurate with skillset and experience
