Description
Description About C Speed C Speed LLC is a radar Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) specializing in advanced radar systems, mechanical and electrical engineering, and software development for defense applications. We partner closely with our customers to design, deliver, and sustain mission-critical systems in dynamic operational environments. As our programs continue to grow, we are expanding our sustainment and depot operations capability to support long-term system readiness and lifecycle performance. Position Overview C Speed is seeking an experienced Logistics & Sustainment Project Manager to support lifecycle sustainment and depot operations for advanced radar systems. This role bridges program management and logistics execution, ensuring readiness, cost discipline, and operational efficiency across active Department of Defense (DoD) programs. The selected candidate will operate within an established program structure and collaborate closely with engineering, supply chain, manufacturing, and field service teams to drive sustainment performance and depot effectiveness. This is a hands-on management role focused on sustainment execution, depot coordination, readiness tracking, and support of cost and schedule management within an Earned Value Management (EVM) environment. Key Responsibilities Lead the operational execution of depot and logistics workflows, including inventory control, provisioning coordination, and end-to-end material flow across assigned radar programs. Direct logistics and sustainment activities supporting repair operations, technical documentation, training programs, obsolescence management, and supply support. Develop and maintain logistics budgets, cost estimates, and integrated schedules; support cost and schedule tracking within an Earned Value Management (EVM) environment. Monitor system readiness, availability, turnaround time, and material performance metrics; implement corrective actions to address provisioning gaps and sustainment risks. Prepare and deliver progress reports, readiness updates, and performance briefings to internal program leadership and government stakeholders, including support for Program Management Reviews (PMRs). Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to improve long-term supportability and ensure fielded systems meet sustainment and operational requirements. Ensure compliance with DoD contracting requirements, DFARS, ITAR, and contractual sustainment obligations. Lead Sustainment System Engineering and Integration and Logistics projects to include design updates and implementation activities. Requirements Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience). 5–8 years of experience in defense logistics, sustainment program management, depot operations, or government contracting environments. Experience supporting lifecycle sustainment of complex hardware systems (radar, avionics, ISR, aerospace, or similar). In-depth knowledge of DoD logistics and sustainment processes, including provisioning, maintenance planning, supply support, and obsolescence management. Familiarity with Earned Value Management (EVM) principles and experience supporting cost and schedule tracking within a program structure. Strong cross-functional coordination and customer-facing communication skills, with experience briefing performance or readiness data. Must be United States Citizen and have a current and valid security clearance or the ability to get one, issued in accordance with the requirements of the DoD Industrial Security Manual. Preferred Qualifications Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent credential. Experience supporting or serving as a Control Account Manager (CAM) within an EVMS environment. Familiarity with DFARS, ITAR, DPAS, and related DoD regulatory frameworks. Exposure to depot activation, sustainment performance metrics, repair workflows, and readiness tracking, with experience leading cross-functional teams within depot-level operations or performance-based logistics (PBL) environments.
Responsibilities
This role involves leading the operational execution of depot and logistics workflows, including material flow, repair support, and documentation across assigned radar programs. The manager will also develop logistics budgets, track costs and schedules using EVM, monitor system readiness metrics, and prepare performance reports for stakeholders.
