Job Description Job Title: Logistics Systems Engineer (Automotive) Location: KSA Employment Type: Full-time Job Description We are seeking a Logistics System Engineer to lead the implementation and optimization of logistics system solutions for in-plant logistics operations. The selected candidate will play a key role in securing intelligent logistics system installation, commissioning, integration, and continuous improvement across Press, Body, Paint, and General Assembly shops. The role requires strong expertise in SAP EWM, logistics systems integration, material handling processes, and coordination with IT teams, vendors, and internal stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Logistics Systems Implementation Lead business-side implementation of logistics system solutions, mainly SAP EWM, ensuring alignment with material handling processes and operational requirements Work closely with IT application teams to implement the required system functionalities supporting logistics operations Take ownership of solution delivery, identify potential failure modes, and implement mitigation actions to reduce line-stop risks Project Management Manage SAP/EWM solution implementation for Press, Body, Paint, and GA shops Conduct requirement investigation and define implementation plans and delivery milestones Drive end-to-end implementation activities including process confirmation, system requirement analysis, solution alignment, design review, development follow-up, go-live, and post-go-live improvement Provide project status updates and reporting to management Coordinate with internal stakeholders, IT teams, and logistics vendors to finalize system requirements and solution design Support implementation of logistics systems for different material flow and line-feeding processes across 4 JPH and 38 JPH production lines Ensure integration with MES, SAP/EWM, PTL, AMR, ASRS, CTU, call button systems, and visualization tools Participate in end-to-end UAT, lead testing activities, and resolve issues Manage logistics system buy-off and handover to logistics operations teams Vendor Coordination Support contract variation order management Participate in maintenance contract sign-off activities Reporting and Compliance Report to the Logistics System Manager Prepare clear reports and presentations for management and stakeholders Ensure confidentiality of all generated documents Follow ISO standards, internal procedures, and documentation/signature workflows Maintain awareness of relevant legislation and compliance requirements Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in IT or a related field, or equivalent practical experience in a large automotive company Skills and Experience Minimum 5 years of experience Strong experience in logistics systems solutions and system integration Hands-on knowledge of SAP EWM, MES, and logistics-related system implementation Understanding of network communication Good knowledge of material handling processes, packaging, and car production processes Strong project governance, reporting, and presentation skills Methodical thinking and strong problem-solving capability Fluent in English, both written and spoken Additional Information Please note that only shortlisted candidates will be contacted Contract/country: Contractor/Freelance Job family: Supply chain
