As a part-time warehouse employee at Royal FloraHolland, your workday as an order picker starts early at 5:45 a.m. This gives you a moment to prepare your tools and enjoy a coffee or tea. At 6:00 a.m., the team meets for a short briefing with daily updates before heading to the floor.
What does the job involve? You’ll drive an electric cart to collect flower trolleys from the warehouse. With your headset connected, you’ll receive step-by-step instructions on where to deliver the flowers and how many buckets to move at each stop. Once your cart is empty, you simply grab a new one and continue, working together with your team until all orders are completed.
The finishing time varies based on workload, usually between 10:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m., though shifts may occasionally end a little earlier or later.
