Description Logistics Facilities Maintenance Technician I – 2nd Shift (3:00 PM – 11:30 PM) Pay: $21–$23/hour (based on experience) + Shift Differential Position Overview We are looking for a dependable and motivated Logistics Facilities Maintenance Technician I to support the maintenance and operation of our warehouse and logistics facility. This entry-level role is responsible for performing routine maintenance, basic repairs, and assisting with preventive maintenance to keep building systems, equipment, and infrastructure running safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-focused, and able to work both independently and as part of a team. Key Responsibilities Perform general maintenance and repairs on facility systems, including HVAC, lighting, plumbing, and mechanical equipment Assist in troubleshooting equipment malfunctions and facility-related issues Conduct routine inspections to identify wear, damage, or safety hazards Support preventive maintenance programs to ensure optimal system performance Document maintenance activities, repairs, and work orders using a CMMS or similar system Maintain tools and equipment in a safe, working condition Assist with facility upkeep, including exterior maintenance such as landscaping or snow removal Ensure work areas are clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards Help install and set up new equipment and facility infrastructure Respond to emergency maintenance requests and urgent repairs Perform routine tasks such as changing light bulbs, replacing filters, and clearing minor blockages Follow the direction from senior technicians and assist with larger maintenance projects Requirements Qualifications Required: High school diploma or equivalent Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and facility systems Experience using hand tools, power tools, and general maintenance equipment Ability to follow safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment Strong communication and teamwork skills Basic troubleshooting ability and willingness to learn Physical ability to lift, stand for long periods, and perform manual tasks Preferred: Previous experience in maintenance, warehouse, or facilities environments Basic certifications or training in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or mechanical systems Familiarity with CMMS or work order systems Knowledge of OSHA regulations and workplace safety standards Experience operating equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks Skills & Competencies Basic mechanical and electrical aptitude Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills Attention to detail and commitment to quality work Effective time management in a fast-paced environment Ability to work independently and collaboratively Work Environment & Requirements Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks (climbing, bending, standing) Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, or overtime as needed Reliable transportation to commute to the facility Comfortable working in a warehouse or industrial environment Why Join Us?
