Overview:

The Logistics & Trade Compliance Specialist is responsible for maintaining commercial relationships with logistics service providers, and for initiating & coordinating shipments to support the project sites, fabrication shops, and warehouses with focus on best service, price, and terms. This position is a Professional role recognized as an industry expert in CB&I markets, products, clients, and customers. The role directly reports to the Senior Supply Chain Manager and routinely interacts with localized Supply Chain team, Project Managers, Accounting, Engineering, and other key stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Enthusiastically seeks and accepts tasks and projects in rotations that allow for maximum experience and growth.
  • Provides advice and guidance to senior leadership and company personnel on the application of government import and export regulations for the countries in which CB&I operates
  • Coordinate with business units to ensure compliance with local, regional and global trade compliance requirements
  • Support internal and external audit commitments including assessments, requests for information, process enhancements, and corrective actions
  • Lead logistics activities including domestic and international transportation, freight coordination, warehousing, and material delivery execution
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable import/export regulations, customs requirements, sanctions, and trade laws
  • Develop and implement logistics strategies to support project schedules, operational requirements, and customer commitments
  • Manage export documentation including commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, and shipping documentation
  • Perform other duties assigned as needed
