We are looking for a Logistics Trainee to support the monitoring and management of service and spare parts deliveries, project shipments, and supplier deliveries. In this hands-on role, you will book shipments, handle export/import documents, and coordinate logistics processes. You will be guided and supported by experienced Logistics Coordinators and Specialists. This is a full-time summer position (May–August, 4 months). Your Role As a Logistics Trainee, you will assist in organizing deliveries from suppliers to Evac and from Evac to customers. You will manage delivery processes in our ERP and other systems, prepare logistics and transportation documentation, and support customs clearance procedures in collaboration with Logistics Service Providers. You will also analyze and select optimal transport routes and methods, balancing total cost, lead time, and customer satisfaction while meeting business requirements. Collaboration and communication with internal and external stakeholders is essential. You will work closely with Evac Buyers, Service Sales, Project Coordinators, and other teams in logistics and transportation. Your responsibilities will include: Delivery coordination: Organize shipments from suppliers to Evac and from Evac to customers ERP & documentation: Handle delivery processes and maintain accurate records in ERP and other systems; prepare transport documents Customs & duties: Support import/export procedures and work with service providers on clearance and duties Route & method optimization: Select transportation methods considering cost, lead time, and customer satisfaction Stakeholder collaboration: Actively communicate and coordinate with internal teams and external partners What Will Help You Succeed Education: Preferably Bachelor-level or ongoing studies in Business, Engineering, or related fields Logistics knowledge: Experience or strong interest in logistics, transportation, or supply chain management Customs & import/export: Understanding of Incoterms, customs, and duties is an advantage Systems: Familiarity with ERP and logistics/transportation management systems is beneficial Language: Fluent in English Eligibility: Valid working permit/residency in Finland Mindset: Detail-oriented, well-organized, self-motivated, and able to work collaboratively What We Offer At Evac, you will join a global, sustainability-driven organization where collaboration, trust, and inclusivity are central to our culture.
