Job Description The Logistics & Transport Specialist is an integral member of our Global Logistics & Transport Team, supporting all KVI entities and Business Units (BUs) with transportation and logistics inquiries. This role is responsible for ensuring smooth and efficient logistics operations, managing transportation partners, and coordinating cross-functional teams to meet the needs of various projects, both in the tendering and execution phases. Main responsibilities are: Lead Logistics Operations – Manage daily transport and logistics for projects, including strategy, RFQs, planning, and execution Vendor & Cost Management – Select, negotiate, and coordinate with logistics partners for efficient and cost-effective shipping solutions Cross-Functional Collaboration – Work closely with project teams, engineering, and customs compliance to meet transport and logistics requirements Process & Compliance Oversight – Resolve customs issues, improve logistics processes, and ensure supply chain efficiency and legal compliance Strategic & Budgeting Support – Provide logistics insights, support project budgeting, and contribute to dispute resolution and claim management Qualifications Experience in the execution of transports, preferably in EPC projects, or similar sectors Working experience in international logistics and managing supply chains across multiple regions (e.g., Asia, Europe, and the Americas) or as a Freight Forwarder. Higher education in transport, logistics, or supply chain management Very good negotiation skills, attention to detail, ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Excellent English skills (minimum B2 level), proficiency in German is a strong advantage Additional Information We offer Employment contract for an indefinite period + 13th Salary Annual Bonus Flexible working time (core time 9-3:00) Home Office possible 2 days a week Extra days of leave Sick Days Recreation allowance Referral Program Travel allowance The third pillar of the pension scheme Support for professional and career growth, education and training Compensation Basic wage component (gross): 2 300 EUR/month This amount is our minimal offered salary.
