Pugh & Sanders are looking for a new member of our growing logistics team.
The roles involves ensuring the delivery of effective and efficient warehouse operations. Working as part of a small team to create an organised, tidy warehouse environment. Making sure customers get their goods in an efficient, timely and professional manner.
Based at Head Office in Burton that support sales of £4.5million annually. A key member of the team, working closely with and reporting into the Logistics & Warehouse Manager. Responsible for stock checking, replenishment and counting along with the production of goods inwards and goods out paperwork.

Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensuring all stock check & replenishment appointments are complete on time. Stock Orders are picked and ready for despatch.
  • Manage Goods Inwards - accurately booking on Purchase Orders and correctly labelling incoming stock.
  • Picking Sales Orders & correctly labelling
  • Releasing Sales Orders and processing Delivery Notes. Aiming to achieve efficient distribution and utilising company vehicles.
  • Ensuring customer orders are delivered on time and signing off key customer deliveries where necessary.
  • Inventory Management. Support accurate stock records and proactively update stock records ongoing. Daily Stock Transfers and Cycle Counting is paramount. Labelling & location 100% of items.
  • Ensure all stock is placed on shelving in a neat, tidy, and organised way, aiming to Label every Stock Keeping Unit with Item Number and Description.
  • Delivering to all areas, including London on a rota basis.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Labelling & Item Locations
  • On Site Cleaning
  • Following the rota provided by Logistics Team Leader
  • Reporting any issues on site – Header Branding, Missing Bin/Labels
  • Reporting any Health and Safety Issues
  • Ensuring POD information is always gathered at point of delivery.
  • Ensuring Site Uniform is correct at all times
