What We’re Looking For: Someone to work with leadership to manage and execute department plans for shipping and receiving of manufactured products Goal oriented; you keep your team focused on the job and department goals Someone with team management skills, who can collaborate across departments Safety Oriented First Shift Lead - Monday through Thursday, 10-hour shifts Tasks: Executing the Production Plan set by Manager Supervise a team of up to 10 employees Read and interpret standard production drawings and job specifications Set up shipping lanes Manage clean and orderly work area Manage safety of all employees and machine usage Requirements 3+ years of Shipping and Receiving leadership experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment Computer literate in Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel and Teams Bachelor’s degree in a related field (logistics, supply chain, etc.) or equivalent work experience Ability to drive a forklift, use a pallet jack and lift up to 50 pounds Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately Strong mechanical aptitude Proficiency in using hand tools and operating machinery Benefits We value our team members and believe in providing competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits, including: Competitive wage with annual increases and a performance-based annual bonus. 401(k) retirement plan Health, dental, & vision, insurance coverage Company paid life, short- & long-term disability insurance coverage Paid time off for vacation, holidays, and personal days
Responsibilities
The Logistics Work Leader will manage and execute department plans for shipping and receiving manufactured products while supervising a team of up to 10 employees. They will ensure safety and maintain a clean work area while executing the production plan set by the manager.
