Description
Job Title: Early Careers in the Arts Intern Working hours: Monday to Friday 10.00am to 6.00pm (additional hours as required) Location: White Cube, Bermondsey, 144-152 Bermondsey Street, London SE1 3TQ. We are delighted to continue our internship programme at White Cube London. The internship pathway in London offers hands-on experience across three essential areas of White Cube's day-to-day activity: Primary Sales, Exhibitions and Gallery Operations. From exhibition planning and artist research to supporting the sales team, you will develop a comprehensive understanding of how a major commercial gallery operates. Over the course of the internship, you will: * Collaborate with the Sales team to assist with client research, prepare artwork offer packs and presentation materials, manage sales data, and develop an understanding of how relationships with collectors are nurtured over time. * Work alongside the Exhibitions team on the logistical and creative process of producing shows, from budgeting and installation scheduling to preparing artist dossiers and attending exhibition kick-off meetings. * Gain insight into the operational side of the gallery, working with the teams responsible for curating viewing room presentations across both London spaces. You will also receive training in programmes including SketchUp, gain exposure to art fairs such as Frieze London, and take part in a programme of monthly exhibition research designed to broaden your awareness of the contemporary art landscape. We particularly welcome applications from people who have not yet had the opportunity to work in the art world. While a demonstrable interest and some knowledge of contemporary art and the White Cube programme are essential, we do not expect you to have an existing network - this internship has been developed to help you build one. Applications will close on Monday 20th July at 5:30pm and we reserve the right to close this vacancy early if we receive sufficient applications.  Shortlisted candidates will be invited to interview in July and August, with the two successful applicants confirmed by the end of August. Both internships will commence in early October 2026. Please note we are currently unable to offer sponsorship, nor guarantee future sponsorship opportunities, for this role.
Responsibilities
The intern will support primary sales through client research and data management while assisting the exhibitions team with logistics and installation. Additionally, they will gain operational experience by curating viewing room presentations across gallery spaces.
