The ideal candidate should have a strong background in editing both educational content and product opening/review-style videos. Sample References: Educational Content: YouTube Example Product Opening Content: YouTube Example Compensation & Assessment Full-time role: 40 hours per week (flexible schedule, no strict time zone requirements). Assessment Task: Shortlisted applicants will complete an assessment (editing a 6-minute video) to demonstrate their skills. Assessment Fee: Applicants who complete the assessment will be compensated $50 USD. Key Responsibilities Edit engaging video content for both educational and product-focused formats. Collaborate with the creative team to ensure videos align with the brand’s style and goals. Organize, cut, and refine raw footage into polished final deliverables. Add text overlays, graphics, transitions, and basic sound design as needed. Ensure high-quality output and timely delivery of projects. Stay up-to-date with editing trends, especially in YouTube and social media video content. Requirements Proven experience as a video editor with a strong portfolio. Proficiency in editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, or equivalent). Strong storytelling ability and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and manage deadlines. Creativity and willingness to contribute new ideas. Reliable internet connection and proper workstation setup.
